Every website owner wants to be at the top of Google's search results. It's not as easy as it looks, though. That's why search engine optimization (SEO) has become so important in recent years.

2. Use the 'page title' and 'description' fields
Your website most likely consists of multiple pages. Each page has its own subject, as well as unique text and different images. These options can be found through the Settings page. Don't forget to save the changes when you're done.

3. Make important pages easily accessible
Make sure the most important pages on your website can be accessed easily by your visitors, ideally with 1 or 2 clicks. Why is this important? The more visits a page receives, the higher it ranks in search results.
To improve a page's accessibility, you can opt to make it a menu item. You can even add a link to the text on your homepage, which optimizes the text while also making another page more accessible.
4. Stay active on your website
Staying active isn't just important for your placement in search results, it also boosts visitor retention. A website that never has anything new simply isn't that interesting.
So, keep adding new texts, images, and even pages - not only will you maintain a good rank in search results, your visitors will keep coming back! It is also a reason for the visitors of your website to return to your website when they see that new things are constantly being posted.

5. Use your own domain name
Besides adding a professional touch to your website, a good domain name improves your rank in search results. Google and other search engines generally prefer websites with their own domain name over free subdomains. Choosing a good domain name can be challenging, however - it should be easy to read, easy to remember, and not too long. So make sure you have a short and concise domain name.
