Users regularly contact us to request the FTP access information for their website. However, Webador does not offer FTP access. This is because our system is set up to ensure that you don't have to worry about this.
File management with Webador
Our user-friendly Content Management System (CMS) offers an easy way to build and manage your website. Within this system, we ensure all images, downloads, and videos are stored on our servers in our own file management system. Managing these files ourselves means we can make adding and modifying the files easier for our users. If you want to add multiple images at once, we recommend using the Photo album and Slideshow elements.
Can I upload my existing website to Webador?
Unfortunately, it isn't possible to upload webpages made with other programs (e.g. Frontpage, WordPress, Dreamweaver), as this would make it impossible to edit content (text, images, etc.) within our CMS.
Can I upload files for visitors to download?
With our system, you can upload files for your visitors to download. This is useful for sharing PDFs, Word documents, and similar files. To add a file for your visitors to download, you can use the File element or add text or a button with a link to a file.
Can I upload PHP files?
For security reasons, uploading PHP files is not possible. Webador forbids the use of self-created or downloaded PHP scripts.
Are there any other options available to me?
You can use a third-party service to link to a database. Use the Embed code element to embed HTML code on your website. Naturally, Webador is unable to offer support for any third-party services used.
