Domain locking is a security feature designed to prevent unauthorized domain transfers and other changes. Are you seeing a locked domain error when attempting to transfer your domain name to Webador? The solution depends on how long ago you registered your domain:


My domain name has been registered for less than 60 days:
So-called top level domains - .com, .net, .org, .info, and .biz - cannot be transferred within 60 days of the date they were registered or previously transferred. Don't worry though, you can still use your domain name by linking it to Webador. 

Once the 60-day hold is over, you can transfer your domain to Webador via the My subscription page. This way, you'll also avoid paying double fees.

My domain name has been registered for 60 days or longer:
This means your current provider has a block on domain name transfers. In this case, you can contact your provider and request that your domain be unlocked.
