You can use Webador to sell files for download or offer paid access to secret pages. This feature is also useful for accepting donations


Once you've listed your product using our text and image elements, all you need to do is create a payment link which you can add to a button. When a customer completes payment via the link, it will automatically offer a file for download or redirect to a specific webpage.



Sell digital goods with Stripe


List your product


Step 1

Start by listing your product. Use the Title and/or Text elements to add a product name and description, and an Image element for the product photo. You can also use the Column and Divider elements to improve the layout.


Step 2

Place a Button element under or alongside the listing and add text to it, e.g. "Buy now" or "Order".



Upload your product


Step 1

Add a new page, give it a non-generic title, and hide the page from the menu.


Step 2

Drag and drop the File element on the hidden page, then upload your digital file/product.



Set up a payment method


Step 1

Log into your Stripe account dashboard and go to Payments.


Step 2

Click on Create a payment link.


Step 3

Ensure Products and subscriptions is selected in the drop-down. Under Product, click in the search field and click on Add product.


Step 4

Enter the product name and price, and optionally a description. You can also upload an image.



Step 5

Click on Add product to go back to the previous page. Under Options, check the boxes if you'd like to collect customer address information and phone numbers, and whether you'd like to add custom fields. Under Advanced options, you can opt to allow promotional codes, collect tax details, and save payment details for future use.


Step 6

Go to the After payment tab and enable the Don't show confirmation page option. A text field will appear to redirect customers to your website. Go back to your Webador website and to the hidden page you created earlier. Preview the page as a visitor (your website must be published), and copy the full URL from the browser's address bar. Go back to Stripe and paste this URL into the text field. 


You can also optionally choose to send a PDF invoice.



Step 7

Click on the purple Create link button in the top right corner of the page.


Step 8

At the top of the page, click on Copy to get the payment link copied to your clipboard.



Step 9

Go back to your product listing in the Webador Editor. Click on the button element you placed earlier and click on the blue Add link button. Go to the Webpage tab and paste the payment link from Stripe to finalize your order button.

List your product


Step 1

Step 2

Place an Embed Code element under or alongside the listing.



Upload your product


Step 1

Add a new page, give it a non-generic title, and hide the page from the menu.


Step 2

Drag and drop the File element on the hidden page, then upload your digital file/product.



Set up a payment method


Step 1

In another tab or browser window, log into your PayPal Business account, click on Pay & Get paid, and select PayPal buttons.



Step 2

Select the Buy Now button.



Step 3

Enter the product information:

  • Step 1: Enter the product name and price, and customize the button to your wishes.
  • Step 2: Optionally track inventory, profit, and loss.
  • Step 3: Customize the checkout process and enter the product URLs:
    • Take customers to this URL when they cancel their checkout: Enter the URL of your website's homepage.
    • Take customers to this URL when they finish checkout: Enter the URL of the hidden page you created in steps 1 and 2.



Step 4

Click on Create Button, then click on the grey Select Code button to highlight the code. Right-click on the highlighted code and click on Copy.


Step 5

Go back to your product listing in the Webador Editor, click on the Embed Code element you placed earlier, go to the Your HTML tab, and paste the code into the box (right-click and select Paste).



Your product setup should look something like this:




 Tip: If you use this feature in combination with our Webshop functionality, you can disable our default order buttons. Simply go to the Webshop tab, click on Settings in the menu on the left, then click on Advanced and disable the Show order button option.
